Craig Robertson
Craig started playing at age 11 and has represented Scotland as a junior and played for the National Team on 76 occasions in Thomas Cup, European, Sudirman Cup, World Championships and the Commonwealth Games, where he won a Bronze Medal in the Badminton Team event in Manchester 2002. Other playing achievements include men's doubles champion at the Austrian Open in 1998 and at the Irish Open in 2000, with Runners up at the Canadian Open in 1999. Domestically he has won Scottish Invitation Singles event twice and Scottish Champion in Doubles and Mixed Doubles on 8 occasions and currently holds the men's doubles title.
Formerly a full time coach Craig made the transition to full time playing and moved to Denmark to represent Lillerod Badminton Club. Craig has an HND in Sports Coaching with Development and a BSc in Sports Studies. Currently employed as Badminton High Performance Coach at Glasgow School of Sport. |
