Shuttlers and Junior Elite Camps 2009

Inna Levit (Israel)

It is the second time that Yonatan is participating in the camp. He was so happy last year that he wanted to come once again even for two camps. This camp gave him significant improvement in technical skills and exposed him to different and various approaches in badminton. Returning home he’ll continue to work and develop the skills he has learned in the camp. He also made a lot of friends from Scotland and around the world. A special thanks to the coaching staff lead by Craig for great organization, support, professionalism and love to badminton.

Dave and Gerardine Connor-Watson (England)

Our two sons Taigh and Finn have been coming to the Scottish camps for a total of 9 years.  Over the years they have improved as players and the set up means that as their standard of play has increased they are able always to come to camps of their standard or ability.

The other players have changed somewhat over the years but there is also a consistency of returning players which is testament to the quality of coaching.  It is also great to see players from every corner of the world and how great is this for them as they get older and meet each other in tournaments.

The coaches are young and fit enough for the players to still aspire to and as important have fun with but have the experience and maturity to engender respect  They are immensely enthusiastic.

The venue is great and the Scottish hospitality has seen us coming back each year and as Finn is only 12 I suspect for many more.  Craig, Julie and Russell are a credit to Scottish Badminton and as workers with young people.
